InvesTechMK is a (mostly) monthly event in Milton Keynes, designed to expose the entrepreneurial community in Milton Keynes by connecting next generation developers and entrepreneurs with investors, mentors and advisors from an established and diverse network.

Started in October 2010, we are interested in all types of start-ups from Milton Keynes and the surrounding area, but especially interested in up and coming technologies such as web/mobile/social applications.

Focused on digital minds, technology/web entrepreneurs, and investors, InvesTechMK provides the opportunity to meet, drink, chat, solve each others problems and most importantly... do deals! We help founders deal with investors and acquirers, make those all important introductions, provide advice on how to pitch your startup, and also how to close a deal once you’ve generatesd the interest.  

Aims

Our aims are quite simple - to inspire, encourage and help to start some startups to actually "startup" in Milton Keynes (although if it's Aylesbury, Bedford, Northampton and other places, that's fine too!)

Who should attend?

InvesTechMK is for founders, investors, mentors, web/tech entrepreneurs and seed/angel funders. While we are focused on the tech community in MK, we support and invite attendees from surrounding areas... including London! 

Format

The format for the programme is fairly simple, and informal. Each month we invite a headline speaker to share their experiences and provide invaluable advice. This will be followed by an opportunity to network, and discuss ideas... but more importantly use InvesTechMK to make introductions, find mentors and get connected to the right people.
